Reflections and Ripples

I was struck today at how we are all connected. How each action we have causes ripples which effect all around us. As i attempt to contain my actions to affect only few i forget that we are complex beings each of us. In this complexity we have hundreds of emotions, and reactions and actions of our own.

Striving to achieve the best being that i can, i try to take into consideration these complexities, and find that i am only human, that i am full of fault. I forget the people behind the ripples, and focus only on the reflection.

A mirror even, may be a good example, but this is not any normal mirror. This mirror shows what we wish to see...not what truely is. And when a ripple alters this view, we may reaction in confusion, or even rage...and tear apart the things we've strived so hard to create.

So tonight, i stand before my mirror, in hopes that i will see a strong being, one of solid mind, and of compassion..and all i see, is me...standing amid the ripples.
