Supporting the transformation of the Mystic Academy

In my short time in Second Life I have had the great joy to have spent much of it at the Mystic Academy. For those of you who are not familiar with the work I do in SL I spend every evening facilitating a meditation circle at the Mystic Academy (9.30pm SLT).

As many of you know the Mystic Academy is undergoing a transformation. From the ashes of its previously 'good' incarnation it is preparing to be reshaped and reborn into something 'great', much like the Pheonix. I had the pleasure to be at the MA on the day it was due to close down (was it March 21st, 2010?). From the first notecard to the Mystic Staff to this day I have been very clear on one truth - this transformation is a magnificent opportunity. It is a chance for the Mystic Academy community to look within and work out what it wants to be as it grows up. And throughout this experience, I have witnessed a coming together of many beautiful souls that truly care about the MA.

And so inspired as I was I sent a notecard of well wishes to Dragon and pledged a 6,000L donation (the total of my tips over the past few weeks, and the spiritual practice of circulation in action). This evening I logged in and had a wonderful conversation with Dragon. After talking about this transformation for a while he asked me to support him as a facilitator through this process of transformation, and advisor. Recognizing the opportunity to bring some talents of my own from RL into the mix I accepted.

Over the coming months I will be using this blog as a way to communicate what I observe during this process of transformation and to lead the example of transparent communication. It is essential through such change that communication from those leading the transformation be often, eloquent, and effective. But most importantly, I shall be holding a spiritual knowing of the right and perfect unfolding for the Mystic Academy. There are many paths, and indeed one Light. It is for us leading this change to ensure that we bring both our divine selves and the best of our physical experiences to this nest; the nest from which the Pheonix will rise reborn.
