ITEMS DISCUSSED

• Report from the Summer Event: Elborath thanked everyone for their hard work and reported that it had brought in 5000$L for the upkeep of MA.
• Report on rentals: All plots on Matara are now taken – there are three on Spirit City to rent. Anyone interested to IM Manon.
• Elborath introduced Jethro Baudin to the group. Jethro has been making short information notecards on a variety of subjects for inclusion in the library. Jethro is also a musician in RL
• Sara Long has an idea to start a new club on her land which she would like to be separate from MA but affiliated. However Dragon sent word that he would like to have an MA club – but on MA land. To be arranged with Dragon further. Of course anyone can have a club on their land if they would like that – independent of MA. Soothsayer suggested that we make space for Spirit Music in the club schedule.
• There was discussion re a meditation area – there is one dedicated on Matara – the co-ordinates are in the main tp system. Jane feels that it is best to keep meditation areas away from the busy and noisy traffic areas. However Elborath will lisiase with Dragon re another on Spirit City itself.
• MA is looking for people to act in a support capacity to staff and for greeting and giving out information to people. A poolof people would be the best option. Dragon has the idea of using students on summer break and helping them to learn people skills they can take into RL. Dragon will recruit. Anyone interested to IM Dragon directly.(Since the meeting I understand Dragon and Lizzy Renard are liaising on greeters)
• An uncluttered landing area is needed outside MA. Suggested that it has the Google calendar terminal, the tp and the infohub. Manon, Elborath and Dragon to liaise.
• Google Calendar vs Prim Calendar – opinions sought – outcome undecided.
• Another big event is planned before the end of the summer. A big rock concert to finish – consultations – and possibly an event along the lines of the Flower Power festival from 2008. Amorah suggested the inclusion of Psychics or a Psychic fair. All suggestions welcome please to Elborath Gelfand.

ANY OTHER BUSINESS

Elborath and Elizabeth discussed the memorial to Grey and Julie. Elborath will speak with FireStaar re scaling it down and leaving the two memorial stones.
