1) Matters Brought Forward:

• Newsletter – nothing to report

• Spring Event – nothing to report

• Teleporter: the main teleport system for Mystic Academy and the Campus is now the new inter-sim system and is working well.

• Calendar: the meeting endorsed the use of a calendar linked to Google calendars. However the current calendar is prim heavy and displays one day, four events at a time which then cycle through. It was agreed that a calendar displaying a week or a month at a glance would be preferable – CodeBastard Redgrave might make one that displays a week or a month at a time. Elborath to investigate. There is a facility for adding people to the calendar for editing rights. Elborath asked that email addresses be sent to her so she can add guides. ACTION: All guides/Elborath

• Bookshop: Both Zenny and Elizabeth have found a system for making books (that look like RL books and are read via a HUD.) The initial outlay is expensive at $L2000 but then copies of each book can be sold for (suggested) $L75 each as a way of generating money for MA. Elizabeth Spieler will work with one and report back next meeting.

2) Website link to merchandise: There is now a page on the Mystic Academy website with links to merchandise and downloads created by Mystic Academy members. Access the page by clicking on the tab ‘downloads’ at the top of the page. Any members who would like to have merchandise included here please send details to Elborath plus url links and slurl links. Also include a picture if you have one. ACTION: All members/Elborath

3) Greeting newcomers: Elborath questioned if the greeter for newcomers is still working. AnthonyE reports that it is. Elborath suggested that the greeting could include the URL of the ‘About Us’ on the webpage as it contains all the information about the Academy. At one time newcomers were followed up after they had visited – is this system still working? Elborath to investigate. ACTION/ Elborath

ANY OTHER BUSINESS

• Elborath updated the group re Sheena – who has had to spend more time in hospital than planned but is on the mend and is expected to make a full recovery from her operation

• Elizabeth asked about the shoutcast URL – whether there are any restrictions on usage. Elborath liaised with Manon – the stream is for the use of any guide and is unlimited in time use and licensed for 100 listeners. Care needs to be taken that someone else isn’t already using the stream when a guide connects to it.
