AGENDA:

1) Mystic Campus

2) Mystic Bazaar

3) Human Rights Festival

1) Mystic Campus: Dragon reported the setting up of a Campus surrounding Mystic Academy – known as the Mystic Campus.

The campus is being developed in order to give students more choice of classes, times and venues and will involve staff leaders building recruiting and managing their own teams. The venues will be partly on dedicated land on Matara as well as taking place on the home ground of some staff leaders.

Staff leaders identified so far are:

• Baji Bourjade and Jane Atkey – Meditation
• Baji Bourjade and Elborath Gelfand Literature/Psychology/Philosophy
• FireStaar Frye and Aurav Walden to lead studies in natural religions and philosophy on their land
• StarRose will offer parts of her land for classes
• Scott Boronski and Dragon Shichiroji – music lead – and are developing with Manon’s help a central area for live music and concerts.
• Land Management - Manon Clary and Dragon Shichiroji

The dedicated meditation venue and the literature salon are already up and ready to go and that area is called Galadlas – which is Elvish for ‘light leaf’.

The Campus is open to anyone whose land is linked or who rent land on Matara or Spirit city to consider being part of the concept. Sara Long is going to dedicate her land to studies in Hinduism. All those interested in having their land as part of the project, please contact Elborath. Also anyone who would like to teach in the existing areas on the campus please contact the relevant staff lead.

Timetabling needs to be sensitive to the existing curriculum but may overlap or run concurrently in some instances. Spontaneous events are also welcome on the campus.

Navigation is envisaged by the setting up of a map structure to enabling students to easily find their way around the campus marking out zones rather than specific tp areas so people can wander to the specific places of interest.

2) Mystic Bazaar: Manon has redeveloped the bazaar and refurbished, so the area is ready to accept vendors. Incorporated in the Bazaar is a social area ro meeting, chatting and coffee. The Bazaar is now called Mystic Grand Bazaar echoing the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul.

3) Human Rights Festival: the event is a sim wide event to mark the 60th anniversary of the signing of the Human bill of Rights. The Festival begins on the 10th Dec and our opening event is a concert by cypress Rosewood at 8pm SLT over on the Galadlas area of Mystic Campus. Sara Long and StarRose are thinking about a class dedicated to Gandhi and Baji and Jane are working on a dedicated meditation. All events to be posted to any1 Gynoid who is co-ordinating the various sims. Dragon suggested some exhibition or event around the issues in Tibet.
