Rock The Path is a non-profit educational center located in Midcoast Maine & Second Life.

The “Path” is the journey that each of us travels during our lifetime and to “Rock The Path” is to wholeheartedly embrace that journey. Rock The Path is a direct invitation to take part in the unabashed exploration and expression of your greatest potential.

RTP offers a range of informative and experiential programs that provide effective and easy-to-use tools to enhance and improve health and wellness. Subject matter for these programs include but are not limited to, stress reduction, relaxation, meditation, pain reduction, help with going to sleep, memory, concentration, creativity, and the exploration of consciousness.

At the core of our work is the use of an audio technology called Hemi-Sync which was developed by Robert Monroe.

Hemi-Sync is a scientifically and clinically proven audio technology that facilitates whole brain functioning and access to different states of consciousness. Through the use of binaural beats and pink sound, Hemi-Sync assist listeners to relax, reduce pain, focus, meditate, concentrate, sleep deeply, reduce unwanted behaviors and to increase desirable behaviors.

When listening to Hemi-Sync, the brain focuses on the binaural beats and it transitions from operating from either the right or the left hemisphere to synchronizing the whole brain allowing both hemispheres to work in concert and collaboration with each other. This significantly more focused and coherent brain state is optimum for relaxation, learning, healing and for the development of our human potential.
