Mystic Psychedelia

Creator of the Psychedelic Community and Visionary Artist

Five years ago Leou created the Montreal Psychedelic Community (Quebec, Canada), putting up a website and hosting a weekly discussion group. The Community has been growing ever since, and in order to allow more people to participate, Leou has enlarged its perspective by creating the SL Psychedelic Community, so that knowledge about psychedelics and related fields could be shared.

Dematerializing reality through art, making it intelligible and miraculous, and rendering the inexpressible beauty of being represent at the same time the end and the means of Leou’s artistic body of work. Through his comics and paintings he initiates a dialogue between the abstract and the figurative, lightness and depth, being and ego.

The multiple stages of his work are very distinctive: they follow and translate his beliefs and the changes in his philosophical system, with the constant desire to express happiness and beauty.
