Elborath Gelfand

I have a background in general and psychiatric nursing and am trained in hypnosis, psychotherapy and NLP. I have widespread experience in counselling and have worked extensively with adolescents – an area which also honed my ‘agony aunt’ skills! I am also trained in NLP, EMDR and am registered with the General Hypnotherapy Council. I have had considerable teaching experience and have a Certificate of Health Education (a teaching certificate but with a bias towards health education).

I am currently working towards a degree in psychology with the Open University.

Within the academy I teach the occasional class – so far self help with EFT and an introduction to Transactional Analysis. I have other ideas in the pipeline!

I also have responsibility for the information hub - the Spiritual Community Information Board. Ultimately it is hoped the board will contain information on all the spiritual and allied groups in SL This information I have recently included on this website at: The Spiritual Network

I also continue to work towards forging new links with other spiritual groups inworld.

I’m available to talk to people about the work of the academy or to show them around.
