Mystic Academy Ventures into Voice

Last night, 17th April 2008 Mystic Academy held its first full length discussion using voice. The evening began with a series of interviews by Elborath starting with the Academy Director Dragon Shichiroji. Dragon told how his vision of a spiritual school in SL had come about, why he thinks MA is such a hugely successful enterprise, where he thinks the Academy is currently and where he would like it to go in the future. At the start Dragon was very 'hands-on' teaching classes, giving Tarot readings doing most of the admin himself. But as the Academy has grown it has become impossible for one person to shoulder all the work. Luckily the increasing membership has attracted many people who have great skills in all the areas and so he is able now to delegate much of the day to day running. But he misses not being able to teach as much as he would like. But the Academy has grown and so has Dragon's day job - and we need balance in everything.

Elborath went on to talk with other people in the lounge and then the evening progressed with a fascinating religious and philosophical discussion until the wee (well by Brit standards) small hours.
