Mystic Academy is proud to announce the development of a new sim, after the success of the Spirit City Sim where Mystic Academy is based, Estate Manager Manon Clary has acquired a new sim called ‘Matara’, the concept is for it to become a meeting ground for the different groups that frequent the Academy and for it to have a much wider purpose where Science and Spirituality can mix and meet.
In the centre of the parcel is a garden which is planned to be a meeting ground and central infohub as that mentioned on the spiritual collaboration page by Elborath Gelfand.
Mystic Academy is proud to sponsor and be behind this new acquisition and we are hoping that groups who work with us who are needing land will look us up and hopefully get a space beside the Academy. Spirit City - The Home of Mystic Academy
Mystic Academy has its home on a beautiful temperate island called Spirit City.
Launched back in Early December 2007, the Spirit City sim houses the Mystic Academy and several residential plots for rental. It is a nice community to live in for staff of the academy and anyone else wishing to be close by.
Fundraising at the Academy
The Academy is a non-profit body and functions on the donations given to guides during classes or at tipjars located around the premises. Also items bought at the Mystic Bazaar bring in a percentage which is agreed with the vendors. More recently we have also set up skyboxes which are dotted around the skies of the Academy so people can have a private space for rental. We are always keen to have your comments about our fundraising and any suggestions as to how we can improve it.
